Since August of 2006, we, Joe and Tiffany, have been living and working in Omihachiman, Japan.
A town of roughly 68,000, Omihachiman is a small city near the East shore of Lake Biwa, Japan's largest lake.
We work as English instructors for Nova, a Japan-wide English instruction company.
At times it can be a lot of fun and at other times it can be... a job, but ultimately it enables us to live here.
When we are not working we attempt to have as much fun as we can by exploring Japan and Asia.
We also find plenty of fun around town by biking everywhere, visiting shrines, shopping at a billion stores,
swimming at the lake, drinking at bars, and hanging out with our Nova friends from the US, Canada, England and Australia.
As one can imagine, we have left behind a lot of friends and family back in the US.
It's our hope that this website will keep us connected and share our stories and lives with you while we're in Japan!
